Cyrc Lukus Vase

The Lukus vase is an exciting development in our continued investigation into the design languages of 3D printing. It is impossible to print the final shape of the Lukus vase. Instead, the Lukus begins as a simple shape with an algorithmic woven structure. After printing, we heat the form by hand to the point where it moves and flows like a piece of fabric. Then, it's quickly molded into its final shape before solidifying. The ruffled edges are a part of the moulding process, giving the Lukus vase a minimal organic feel we are proud of.
